If you ask any Dallas girl, they’d probably list Bishop Arts as one of the cuter places in the city. It’s in an area of Dallas that used to be a little bit run down, but has since been transformed into a unique, artsy hub for anyone looking for a cute brunch spot or some shopping. Maybe even a minor hipster spot dare I say?
What’s really fun about Bishop Arts is that it’s walkable. A lot of Dallas isn’t too walkable, besides downtown and isolated areas like Trinity Grove and Snider Plaza. Bishop Arts has unique restaurants, boutiques, and coffee shops that you won’t find anywhere else. On a pretty day, it’s hard to find a cuter place in Dallas.
Here are my favorite spots in Bishop Arts!
Start your day here:
This place has the BEST brunch. It’s always pretty busy on Saturday’s and Sunday’s but they’ve got a cute outdoor area to eat or wait. The Huevos Rancheros is 10/10.
It’s right next to this sign – so take a cute pic! We were lucky enough to capture this dude on his phone.
Next, do the best thing you can do in Bishop – explore!
This can easily take a few hours. There are plenty of boutiques and fun specialty shops. These are our faves.
We were actually ready to move in here. The store itself is beautiful – they actually host events and rent it out. The plants are amazing, though. The day we went they had “Pups on the Porch” where they partnered with a dog adoption agency. We almost cried real tears when we realized we missed it. Also, please notice the amount of coffee cups heaving from my arms. Good grief.
This boutique is new to Bishop Arts. It was originally in downtown. It’s so dang cute! The vibe is so fun and prices are beyond reasonable.
Afternoon Pick Me Up:
There are several adorable coffee shops/places for quick treat, but I would recommend either of these or both if you’re like me.
The vanilla latte’s and white mocha’s are staple and so dang good. I always, always stop by here when I come to Bishop.
Oh goodness this place. When we went, we sampled just about everything Mark (the owner) would give us. We ended up buying the hot cocoa mix and drank it during the Bachelor the next day lolz. It’s so rich and so yum. They cater events, too!
There are endless cute things about Bishop Arts. Half of the fun is walking around, petting the endless dogs, and exploring. The whole area has such a unique charm about it. Everytime I go I add a new favorite spot to the list.To my Dallas gals, what are you favorite spots?!
Also, a BIG happy Friday, y’all! Enjoy your weekend!!
