Listen up, March. You were complicated and challenging and for that I’m grateful because I experienced a lot of growth this month. But also,
BYE. SEE YA NEXT YEAR.
I’ll probably say this every month, but I absolutely LOVE the start of the month- every month. It’s so great. Fresh calendar, new dates, new adventures.
NEW THEME, TOO! Stay tuned for that on Monday.
Per usual, I have so much to be thankful for and March was no exception. Here are some of my favorite moments!
Welcoming Ellis Rose to the world!
I haven’t met her yet, but hands down the best moment of March was when my best friend had her first baby, Ellis Rose! She is stunning and Kate is the best mom. Seeing your girlfriends become moms is the sweetest thing. Keep em’ coming, girls! Pictures to come!
Quick trip to DC with my mom
My sister and her husband live in DC so when my mom invited me to go with her I couldn’t have said yes faster! We basically ate our way through the city, laughed nonstop, and froze out bootay’s off. DC you are COLD in March. More about this trip here.
Trip to Asheville, North Carolina
We picked Asheville sort on a whim. For our vacations we like to have a combination of being active, but also eating our way through the city. Asheville was PERFECT. The scenery was beyond stunning and the whole vibe of the city is soo cool – very similar to Austin. The Biltmore alone makes it worth visiting to me!
Finding Joy in the in between moments
Sometimes when you ask God you search your heart and make things new…He does. He did that for me and I somehow still didn’t see it coming. Growth is tough, but the Joy that comes from growth is unlike anything else. I’m walking away from March with deep gratitude for the moments that aren’t during vacations and or things I’ve planned for months.. I’m seeing the in between moments with fresh eyes and so many of those moments are highlights for me. Interestingly, I didn’t capture many of those on camera. Here are few, though.
Thanks for following along another month! This blog has brought me so much joy and ignited something fierce in me. Having you along through this is amazing.
Happy Friday and have a wonderful weekend!
