This month we studied Gratitude and God’s perspective of how it should look in our lives. We heard from my girl, Maddie, and got some wisdom and encouragement from her. We looked at how to cultivate gratitude in our everyday life and we looked a little deeper into ourselves and asked what was maybe keeping us from experiencing gratitude. If you weren’t able to catch each post, use these links to check them out!
Also, May flew by right?! Wow this month was so full in so many ways. We experienced some really great moments and a few really tough ones. I wasn’t too great at capturing all of the great moments (too busy checking out from technology!) and I know iPhone photos are totally frowned upon but here are few – these represent more of my day-to-day anyway, right?
Ahhhh so many little sweet new things in our lives!! One of my best friends had her baby in March and were finally able to meet baby Ellis (technically in April but whatever). She’s the sweetest, most precious little girl and I’m so proud of her mama! We also got to meet our GODSON Josiah a few weeks ago and oh my goodness he’s perfection. Both babies are happy and healthy and so love and prayed for!! I already can’t wait for more snuggles.
LOTS OF FAMILY TIME
With Mother’s Day and my dad’s birthday, plus a few random events, we were able to see both sides of the family quite a bit this month. It’s so fun hanging out with your parents and grandparents as adults – it’s so much easier and more natural! Also, my cousin (the brunette beauty above) is way more cute and precious than I’ll ever be and oh Lawddd that double chin of mine. Gosh I’m just super thankful for all of them.
THE BEST IS YET TO COME
This month was a HUGE learning curve with the blog. I attended my first “blogging event” and met some super sweet DFW bloggers! I also got to take part in the dreamiest photo shoot with other DFW bloggers, Katie Lamb Photography, and Olive + Nine. Lots of fun and pretty things are coming to the blog next month that I’m so excited to share! Thank you again for your support – it means the absolute world! Ryan and I also have all of our 2017 travel plans booked + planned. We promised each other that travelling would be a big priority before kiddos and we’re really trying to live up to that this year. We may or may not be adding a few fluffy members to the family soon too EEEEEK.
I hope the month of May brought you joy + growth and that you’re walking into June with a slightly more grateful perspective and heart. I know I am!
I’ll see you Friday for a FRESH and new month + theme!!
